Well I have made it to my apartment in Spain. The flight from DFW to London wasn't bad at all and I had a wonderful man sitting next to me who knew all about the flight and London. Here's a picture of me waiting to see what gate I needed to go to.
We then took the 2 hour flight to Spain and arrived just great. I got a lot of rest on this flight. From there I left my friend and found a taxi and got to my apartment. My friend Claudia was already here and we unpacked a little and then went for LONG walk around. We got to see the 0 km mark where all of Madrid starts and the Bear statue. Tonight there is a gay parade and music at the plaza just down the street so we might go to that as well. Here are some of the pictures from this afternoon. Tomorrow, I believe we meet up with everyone and go on a bus tour or some such. Going to see what's for dinner.
