Today has been lots of fun. We met up with one of our friends and all went to the stadium for Real Madrid, THE WORLD CHAMPIONS OF SOCCER! We took a tour and it was very long. We got to go on the field even. There are lots of pictures on Facebook of us having a TON of fun taking pictures and some of the best here on the blog. For all those soccer enthusiast...there are lots of pictures. To get to the stadium we took the metro for the first time. It's very fast and efficient and we will taking it to the airport on Friday to go to Porto as it will LOTS cheaper than the taxi.
We are resting now and will have dinner between 8:30 and 9:00 (Spain time) then head out to the parade. I can't wait to share pictures tomorrow of that!
I'm trying to use some Spanish and can't wait for school on Monday to start so that I will hopefully have some direct instruction and really begin to feel more comfortable with speaking.
Tomorrow, I'm not sure what the plan is. We may take the tour bus, maybe not... but I'm sure we'll have a great time! |
