So we started classes today. I don't really have any pictures to post. But we had to be at school at 8:00 for a placement test. They were not going to make me take it, but I tried anyway. There was a speaking part that I did horrible on, but was able to speak a little bit. They then took us on a tour and we some things we hadn't seen yet and have put on the list to see. However, when we got back we found out that all of our classed would be in the afternoon from 3-7 with an optional culture class until 8. The problem with that was that we were told before we left to go ahead and book our flights for the weekend trips in the afternoons on Friday. So after some persuading from our professors from UTA everyone, but me was switched to the morning. They said they didn't have any room for me in a class in the morning. I am really frustrated by this because I don't know how I'm going to be able see what I want. I know I shouldn't go out alone, but I don't have much of an option now. So we shall see how it all works out.
Now the actual class I really liked. There is an hour class, then a 30 min. break, and then another hour class. They were fun. The first one was just very basic and left me hoping it would get better. The second class was much better though. I learned lots of professions. The thing I really like is that they cover all 4 domains of language learning, meaning: listening, speaking, reading and writing. So onward we go to tomorrow and hopefully I will get to Skype with the girls before I go to class.

Try going to the morning class and see what happens. Sometimes in countries where things are a little less organized than the US you have to push a little bit and take things into your own hands. Good luck, and I hope things work out!
